iCast System Upgrade Package options now available

iCast System v 2.0 Now Available
(Wilmington, Delaware) – iCast Multimedia announced today that several new major upgrades are available for the iCast System. The newest version introduces many additional CPU options that will allow the system to be compatible with a wider array of multimedia content. The introduction of Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology and Intel 945 mobile chipset has increased overall performance in the iCast System by as much as 35%. The iCast System now comes in an array of different CPU, RAM, and Hard Disk Drive options.
"The introduction of advanced CPU and chipsets for small form factor PCs represent exciting new possibilities for digital signage firms like iCast Multimedia," said Scott Taylor, Vice President of iCast Multimedia. “The latest in Intel small form factor chips not allow the iCast System to play a more diverse library of multimedia but this also extends the useful life of each unit since our players will now run faster with less heat than ever before.” In addition to improvements to the iCast System’s hardware spec, several minor software upgrades to improve overall performance have been implemented in version 2.0.

iCast Multimedia Announces Release of iCast Trivia Pack 1

(Wilmington, Delaware) – iCast Multimedia announces the release of Trivia Pack 1 for the iCast System today. “One of the biggest requests we've received for the iCast System has been for entertainment based multimedia content. In response to their requests, we're very proud to release Trivia Pack 1 exclusively for the iCast System," said Scott Taylor, Vice President of iCast Multimedia. "With this new release, iCast Multimedia moves to fulfilling a need for more diverse content – not just multimedia that can be classified as marketing or education.” Both current and new iCast Multimedia customers will have the option to add iCast Trivia Pack 1 to their system.

iCast Multimedia Announces Availability of the iCast Channel

(Wilmington, Delaware) – iCast Multimedia is proud to offer the iCast Channel Video-on-Demand streaming content for the iCast System. The iCast Channel will help supplement multimedia content currently sourced for health care professionals by offering news weather and sports updates in real time. “The iCast Channel offers our customers a new wrinkle in multimedia content that will create more value for our health care professional members, " said Scott Taylor, Vice President of iCast Multimedia. “In market tests news, weather, and sports provided through the iCast Channel, exclusively for the iCast System, offered the audience an additional entertainment experience which is also very informative. This just wasn’t present before we developed a way to send bonus content along with the current library of content.”
While the news and sports broadcasts are national, all weather is regional and updated every minute on the minute in real time. iCast Multimedia is currently developing new and exciting additions to the iCast Channel such as a stock ticker to be released sometime during first quarter 2007.

iCast Multimedia now accepts Paypal payments!

PayPal is an e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the internet.
It serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders. PayPal performs payment processing for online vendors, auction sites, and other corporate users, for which it charges
a fee. In October 2002, Paypal became an eBay company, a wholly owned subsidiary of eBay. Their corporate headquarters is in San Jose, California.
